Inspirational author Karen Malley was getting bogged down with WordPress to support her traditionally published series. I consulted with Karen on her goals for marketing her book, and after surveying her market niche, consulted on content strategy that included a brand palette, graphics, and copywriting.
Goodwill Rights Management Co wanted to rebrand their website. I consulted directly with the owner and his business partner to understand how they defined who they served and what they did, then ran market research. Outcomes included site strategy and client-focused copywriting for their homepage and navigation.
SU News was a print newsletter that cost more to produce and distribute than the donations warranted. The dated layout and verbose product- and resource-centric articles lacked empathy and creativity. As Brand Manager, I encouraged the executive team to pivot the content strategy to focus on impacts and outcomes as well as a rebrand the newsletter for linked digital editions. I led creative and executed copywriting, editing, and production in print, digital for a 200% increase in donations from the newsletter in the first year. (2017 Design in use until Spring 2023)
